OBER GATLINBURG 2003 SEASON
This was a trip that wasn't supposed to happen. I had an
appointment in Knoxville and hoped I had time to ski so I brought along my gear.
The appointment took longer than expected so I drove on over to Gatlinburg to
get some pictures since I was 1/2 hour from it anyways. When I got there, there
was almost no one on the slopes! So I took these three pictures and went skiing
for 3 hours. I skied until after dark when everything turned into a sheet of
ice. The greens were fine but the blues (you can only ski so many greens before
you want to tackle the blues and blacks) and blacks were a sheet of ice. After
sliding all over the hill, I finally called it a day.
